Welcome to Chaires EDEP! 🐾

At Chaires Elementary, the learning, fun, and friendships don’t stop when the school bell rings!

Our Extended Day Enrichment Program (EDEP) provides Chaires families with a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for students before school, after school, and during the summer. EDEP is an extension of the school day where our Little Chaires can learn, create, explore, play, and grow!

Throughout the year, students have opportunities to participate in educational and recreational activities, homework support, special events, and plenty of time to have fun with friends.

🐾 EDEP Hours

EDEP operates on regular school days during the following times:

Before School: 7:00 AM – 8:20 AM
After School: 2:50 PM – 6:00 PM

Upon dismissal, all students enrolled in EDEP should report directly to the covered area/breezeway before transitioning to their assigned groups and activities.

🌟 Explore Our Enrichment Classes

One of the highlights of Chaires EDEP is our variety of enrichment classes!

Students are given opportunities to explore their interests, discover new talents, and try something new through classes and activities in areas such as art, dance, sports, STEM, cooking, technology, academics, life skills, creative arts, and more.

Our enrichment offerings change throughout the year, giving our Little Chaires new experiences to look forward to and new ways to learn beyond the traditional classroom.

Our goal is to create a place where every student feels safe, supported, included, and excited to participate.

Whether they are completing homework, discovering a new talent, joining an enrichment class, creating something amazing, being active, spending time with friends, or simply having fun after a long school day, we want EDEP to be a place where our Little Chaires can thrive.
